Battersea Arts Centre (formerly Battersea Old Town Hall) is a wonderful late Victorian building (c.1893) with a beautiful Art Deco interior and a varied and interesting history. The Grand Hall boasts a massive sprung maple dance floor in excellent condition, a balcony overlooking the dance floor and a fully licensed separate bar.

Eating
During the evening there will be light snacks available to purchase at the three bars (crisps, nuts, chocolate bars etc.).

For a meal before the ball, there is a good selection of restaurants, wine bars and pubs on and around Lavender Hill and nearby Battersea Rise.

Take a look at lollo which lists a vaste range of local restaurants to suit all tastes. As it is a Saturday night and the area is well regarded for its eateries we highly recommend booking in advance to guarantee a table.

Cloakroom Facilities
We will be running a staffed cloakroom adjacent to the foyer (a small suggested donation to Macmillan Cancer Support will be very much appreciated). Please don't bring sports bags or rucksacks as these cannot be taken into the hall and they take up a large amount of room. Please come dressed for the night as there are no changing facilities for guests.

Please bring as little as possible with you on the night - all coats and bags MUST be left in the cloakroom.
